Kootenay Street Clubhouse
Kootenay Street Clubhouse is a licensed school-age program that provides quality care for children in kingergarten and up, by a team of qualified staff, for 25 children each day after school and during non-instructional days when school is not in session.
The program gives children and youth the opportunities to experience sports and recreation, creative arts, literacy, health and nutrition and personal growth. A balance of structured/free play and indoor/outdoor activities are provided each day. Transportation of children from school and for club activities is provided by walking groups from schools in close proximity to the centre or by 15 passenger vans. All Club staff are properly licensed to transport children.
The Kootenay Street Clubhouse challenges children to learn and grow at their own pace, with peers, while providing fun interactive experiences that help build positive relationships, developing confidence and skills for life.
A monthly calendar is provided that includes program activities, experiences and community outings planned.

Steeples Clubhouse
Steeples Clubhouse is a licensed school-age program and represents BGC Cranbrook’s first official partnership with School District #5. This collaboration allows us to extend high-quality care and engaging programming directly within a school setting, ensuring children have a safe, supportive, and accessible environment each day after school and during non-instructional days when school is not in session.
The Steeples Clubhouse provides care for children in kindergarten and up, led by a team of qualified staff who are dedicated to fostering growth, creativity, and confidence. The program gives children the opportunity to explore sports and recreation, creative arts, literacy, health and nutrition, and personal development. Each day is carefully balanced between structured and free play, as well as indoor and outdoor activities.
Because of our unique partnership with School District #5, Steeples Clubhouse is ideally located to prioritize families from Steeples Elementary School. Transportation to Steeples Clubhouse from other schools is not provided.
Steeples Clubhouse challenges children to learn and grow at their own pace while building positive peer relationships and developing life-long skills. Each month, families receive a calendar outlining the exciting activities, projects, and community experiences planned, so children can look forward to new opportunities and adventures.
